Supporting Child Development via First Relationships
Mission
ECC was founded in 2022 to provide high-quality early intervention services to young children. In the familiarity of their home, in the presence of their special caregiver, and in the family’s preferred language.
Early intervention is about identifying risk factors that might be threatening an infant or toddler's healthy development. ECC promotes early childhood mental health and so focuses on social and emotional development of the young child. We believe in the power of first relationships and make it a priority to understand your family life and your unique parent-child relationship to individualize interventions.
ECC provides Early Intervention services via the Child & Family Connections offices throughout Chicago and the northern and western suburbs of Illinois. We are also in Network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL PPO and AETNA PPO.
Early Childhood Consulting is here for both of you and will partner with you to promote the well-being of your family through therapy, short term consultations and parenting groups.

Lynette De Dios, LCSW
In love with the intersection between early childhood development, parenting and culture I decided to nurture myself with all the science and professional experiences needed to accompany you in your own parenting and professional journey.
Born to a Cuban mother and a Mexican father, culture has always been an important lens through which I understand family practices, relationships, and human development.
No matter how young they are, infants and toddlers actively participate in everyday routines that are very much guided by their family's cultural community. Yet, through my work, I often bumped against the same two walls: 1) lack of services for bilingual families 2) lack of professional support for bilingual professionals.
Early Childhood Consulting is my love letter to the adults caring for young children who are doing their best with what they have.

Whether you are family support specialist, an infant & toddler home visitor, or an early childhood teacher, you are pivotal in young children's mental health and well-being. ECC is here to fill the lack of bilingual professional development.
Jessica Fernandez, LCSW
Hello, my name is Jessica Fernandez! I am a licensed clinician social worker with over 7 years of experience working with young children and their families. I enjoy working with children because I love to see them explore, get curious, build relationships and grow. I hope to provide parents the support and the compassion they need to explore, build and grow along with their child.
As an infant and early childhood clinician, I prioritize learning and understanding worries that parents may have and connecting their observations with their child's social and emotional development so that, with a plan, they can respond in ways that feel satisfying for their relationship.
As a parent, I am keenly aware of the complexities between parent's emotional well-being and the critical need to normalize and validate that parenting can feel wonderful and good, but it can also feel like a rollercoaster: fast, unpredictable, and hard-- all at once! Through my work with Postpartum Support International's Hotline I provide clinical support to parents and caregivers who are seeking psychoeducation on perinatal mental health.
