Head Start Classroom & Home Visiting Infant Mental Health Consultation

Whether you are a family support specialist, a home visitor, an early childhood teacher, or a program administrator your role is vital in fostering children’s mental health.  Lynette is here to support you by holding each perspective—educator, parent, and child—and building a bridge that promotes positive attachment and attunement within these relationships. Lynette brings warmth, empathy, and deep respect for your expertise and experiences. Her approach is to be present and curious, creating a space where you feel seen and heard.  As a bilingual and multicultural clinician, Lynette is committed to meeting you where you are, honoring the unique strengths and needs of every child, caregiver, and community you serve.

Here are some of the consultation services we offer to early childhood providers!

  • Reflective consultation: this reduces  secondary traumatic stress in teachers
  • Parent workshops that promote sense of belonging within school community
  • Coaching to strengthen teacher-student relationships
  • Professional Development related to trauma and interventions that can be implemented in the classroom routine to promote students' social and emotional development
  • Classroom student observations
  • Clinical case consultation

Services can be provided in English and Spanish

Circle of Security Parenting Groups

The Circle of Security ParentingTM (COS) program is an 8-session research-based-parent

group grounded in knowledge of attachment and early intervention. COS is designed to help

caregivers become more attuned and responsive to their young children’s emotional needs.

The COS approach meets parents with compassion and respect. It recognizes that parenting is deeply emotional work and rather than focusing on what parents are doing “wrong,” COS helps caregivers feel seen, understood, and supported in their efforts to meet their child’s needs.

Early Childhood Consulting is happy to partner with your staff to facilitate this series and other parent workshops.
